Greetings from House of the Arts (HArts)! We are a Special Interest House at RIT dedicated to fostering and facilitating RIT's artistic community. Composed of a mix of both art and non-art majors, we are the largest organization dedicated to the arts on the East side of campus. You can find us located on the 4th floor of DSP!

Special Interest Houses (SIHs) are student-led organizations dedicated to various subjects of student interest. SIHs have dormitory hall floors reserved for them, with members living on and off this floor. They provide students with tools, materials, events, and a community of like-minded individuals to surround themselves with.

HArts is the product of two of the oldest Special Interest Houses previously at RIT, Art House and Photo House. These houses, each with a rich history and extensive experience in their crafts, merged in 2025 to create this organization. We are now dedicated to facilitating all disciplines of art across any media that our members use!
